Michael T. Hensley, MBA, CPA, is President of Reflection Printing, a full-service commercial printing company in Houston.

Mike has 30 years of experience in senior management positions within small to mid-size business. Prior to his acquisition of Reflection in 2003, Mike was Vice President of Wellsite Operations – Western Hemisphere for Tesco Corporation (Nasdaq: TESOF). During his tenure there, Mike was responsible for $70mm in annual revenues generated from four geographic business units that employed over 200 personnel. Mike managed all aspects of business from client development to product delivery, including overseeing the annual budgeting process for these business units which operated in ten (10) different countries.

Prior to joining Tesco, Mike was Chief Financial Officer for American Medical Communications, a venture capital backed medical marketing company. The $8mm annual revenue company created marketing tools for the pharmaceutical industry’s sales representatives. Each product produced was packaged for distribution by a local commercial printing company. In the CFO role, Mike assumed some operational management responsibilities during a leadership transition of the company, some of which directly related to managing the printing and packaging process.

Prior to joining American Medical Communications, he worked as controller / general manager for a regional electrical contracting company. The entrepreneur-founded company had revenues ranging from $2.4mm to $4.8mm annually. In this turn-around situation, Mike joined the company when the company had eight (8) weeks of cash. While working hand-in-hand with the owner / founder, Mike revamped the sales staff, shed overhead expenses, and reduced head count while creating cash flow models to assist in 90-day forecasting. When Mike left, the owner / founder was making more profit annually than at any time in the company’s history.

Mike began his career at Arthur Andersen and also worked as an accountant in the banking industry. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, and an MBA from LeTourneau University. Mike is an adjunct faculty at LeTourneau University, teaching Strategic Management, Administrative Theory & Practice, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, and Quality Management at the undergraduate level.
